New Comprehensive Video on Tesla “Autopilot” — Is Elon Killing People?

This video is pretty well done. Though there are some areas I believe came up short.

· The “autopilot” safety spec Elon etc quotes includes human Guinea pig disengagements where they save the car, themselves, and others. Count those for apples/apples and Tesla is grossly negligent

· The massively long alarm time was not mentioned. At 20 seconds or longer, it is like not having DM at all. 20 seconds at 60mph is 1760ft. Tesla clearly doesn’t want disengagements so they can experience the scenarios, especially crash scenarios.

· Lex Fridman didn’t push Elon because he is an enabler & has been discredited. Lex Fridman, MIT Deep Learning Research Scientist, is Misleading his Students, and putting them at Risk

· The NTSB Brown and Banner recommendations were insane. They want Tesla to only allow “autopilot” to work when in ODD it has capabilities to operate in. Given ML & deep learning for development, how do they get to that point if they don’t fail/update over and over first? Which can kill people over and over = Brown/Banner etc

· Tesla was let Tesla off the hook for getting rid of radar. Cameras cannot be the sole sensor in a L4 system. Too many shortcomings==Weather, lighting, object complexity, 2D objects and the moon apparently. I think their HW can’t process second sensor well. Hence no Arbe.
