NHTSA is Enabling the Crash of the Driverless Vehicle Industry and More Needless Human Test Subject Deaths
NHTSA just released a description of its impending driverless vehicle guidelines “AV 4.0”. As this is a rehash of its previous approach, I have reviewed the case against NHTSA falsifying data to misrepresent Tesla’s “autopilot” performance and I witnessed Dr. Owens address the senate after the close of the NTSB Uber/Herzberg tragedy, where he repeated the ridiculous and dangerous mantra that safety guidelines should not be put in place until the technology is sorted out, I am convinced Dr. Owens is either not competent or unethical. I fear there may be something nefarious going on here. (I do not make any of these charges lightly.)
As I have covered this before I will refer you to my articles below explaining all of this in detail. This includes very specific ways to resolve all of this.

My company is Dactle
We are building an aerospace/DoD/FAA level D, full L4/5 simulation-based testing and AI system with an end-state scenario matrix to address several of the critical issues in the AV/OEM industry I mentioned in my articles below. This includes replacing 99.9% of public shadow and safety driving. As well as dealing with significant real-time, model fidelity and loading/scaling issues caused by using gaming engines and other architectures. (Issues Unity will confirm. We are now working together. We are also working with UAV companies). If not remedied these issues will lead to false confidence and performance differences between what the Plan believes will happen and what actually happens. If someone would like to see a demo or discuss this further please let me know.
