This is disingenuous hype. Worse than before. All you are trying to do is rewrite history, make it look like you were never way off or part of the hype and trying to move the goal post. This is the problem “Today, the public is deeply underwhelmed by the stunning progress in autonomous driving technology.”- IT”S NOT STUNNING PROGRESS. They are nowhere close to L4. Progress is mediocre at best.
And worst of all the progress curve is flattening. They will not get much further and collapse will pick up pace.
Of course it’s all avoidable.
