The name is very misleading. There is nothing close to a LiDAR or any active sensor here. Stereo cameras are better than non-stereo but still struggle with what appear to be 2D or actual 2D objects, complex objects like multiple vehicle trailers and going in to the sun or darkness.

As the "depth map" relies on the same stereo cameras the tech simply cannot be trusted right now to perform as necessary.

Curious-in your test systems you use a LiDAR for comparison correct?
