Yes, I have a conflict of interest. I tried to avoid it by helping the current sim makers in this industry fix/upgrade their tech. All refused. Some actually stated they will do so when their customers figure out there is a problem and pay for it. Odds are that would be after several tragedies.

Beyond that my ethical fortitude is easily verified. Google me and IEEE Barus Ethics Award. This ordeal is like that one only a bit bigger. I defeated the world’s largest contractors because I had the experience, did the homework and am not a sheep. Same here.

I mention L5 only because that is the top level. I do not think it is possible either. But again the sim capabilities needed for L5 are no different than L2. It’s about real-time and model fidelity.
